Being a reporter is super fun!
With a microphone in your hand, you can explore everything around you! Ask question, hear exciting stories and record them with sound or video. You become a real detective investigating the world!
On our website, you’ll find videos made by children from all over the world. They’ve already started working as reporters. Will you join too?
1. ChildPress reporters have experienced how influential you can be as a child when you use your talents to be heard and taken seriously. The first talents you use are your own feelings and the words you can find to express yourself.
And as your voice really can make a great difference.
2. You then start creating your own case by analyzing which information you can build on.
Are there other reporters who have already been working on the same case?
Have they gone out to different sources?

- On the street
- In the library
Film everything and get permission to publish!
3. Getting attention for your case means joining in with our ChildPress news agency.
Organize a press conference at your local library, town hall, or the editorial meeting room of a local press office, and get your ChildPress equipment.
You will have proved to be a reliable source yourself on a case that is clearly very important, not only for you but for many more children.

Are you a people person? Do you easily and often talk with the people around you? Do you feel comfortable starting a conversation with someone you don’t know? Are you curious and always want to know more? Then Production or Interviewer is something for you!
Journalist or Scriptwriter

Are you strong with words? Do you enjoy discovering new words and meanings? Do you like writing down what you see in the world around you? Do you enjoy coming up with complex questions and documenting the answers? Then being a Journalist or Scriptwriter is someting for you!
Editor/Film/Editing

Do you prefer being behind the camera rather than in front of it? Do you always want to learn new things in the field of technology? Do you enjoy solving puzzles and creating things yourself? Do you want to take on the challenge of turning separate film clips into one cohesive whole? Then Editor is the role for you!
Manager/Editor-in-Chief

Are you good with people? Can you sense what those around you need without them having to say it out loud? Do you want to make sure everyone in the group is heard and feels comfortable? Then you are the perfect Project Manager or Editor in Chief!
Sales & Financial Planner

Do you enjoy working with numbers? Do difficult calculations and problems excite you? Do you like abstract thinking and want to learn more about the application of numbers? Then Sales & Financial Planner is something for you!
Sound Technician Music Producer

Can you listen to music for hours? Are you attentive to all the everyday sounds around you? Do you enjoy playing with instruments and experimenting with new sounds? Would you like to combine this with making a video? Then Sound Technician or Music Producer is the role for you!
